“One of the things that makes the tour so enjoyable is that Alpenfest has so much fun...it is a contagious attitude of “life is good”! (Beer is better!!)”  We were so pleased with the variety of places we toured, and of course the scenery was spectacular. Mike & Shirley Winkler ~2007~

The wonder and beauty of nature at its best is Trümmelbach falls!  Trümmelbach  consists of ten illuminated glacier waterfalls inside a mountain which is accessible by elevator.  The water originates from three mountain peaks and carries up to 20,000 liters per second.  After lunch, it’s ALL ABOARD!!  Chug, chug, toot, toot  as we take Switzerland’s oldest steam cog railway 1,678 meters up Rothorn Kulm.  Your reward is a spectacular mountain panorama.
