Alpenfest has been performing German music and Makin’ People Schmile since 1984.  Live music is what makes our tours unique.  During the day, you’ll see the beautiful sights of Europe and every night you’ll have a private party with Alpenfest.  It’s so much fun!  Our musicians are very versatile.  Although we specialize in German folk music, our shows embrace a variety of styles - from country, pop, and comedy to top-notch instrumentals.

The 2012 Alpenfest Summer Tours will be our thirty and thirty-first European tours.  We engage native, professional tour guides to provide you with the best cultural and historical information.  Each tour accommodates about fifty people.  Most tours are “SOLD-OUT” months in advance.  Our guests are so excited after travelling with us, they can’t help telling everyone.  Word of mouth is our best form of advertising!

Alpenfest always chooses locally owned hotels in quaint villages.  This gives you the chance to truly see for yourself the friendliness and hospitality of the people. 

Alpenfest makes traveling so easy.  You don’t have to worry about where to stay, how to speak the language,  how to get to your destination, or which side of the road to drive on.  Everything is taken care of for you.  You can drink a beer and enjoy the glorious scenery from the comfort of a luxury bus, while someone else maneuvers the narrow streets and the autobahn.  Although we visit many cities and towns, we only stay in two or three different hotels, so you don’t have to move your luggage every day.  You can settle into your hotel room, knowing that you will be staying for several nights.  It’s truly a hassle free way to travel.
